Fish farming company establishing Orangeburg operations

Pure Blue Fish, founded in 2016 in Israel, raises yellowtail using recirculating aquaculture systems. Its new production and packaging facility is expected to be completed by 2022 and create 82 jobs at the Matthews Industrial Park in Orangeburg County.
