The goal accelerates the Sustainable Fuel Act’s vision to reduce aviation emissions by 50% before 2050. Boeing had been creating a jet to replace petroleum with sustainable fuels.

As part of the $68 million Capers Hall Reconstruction Project, The Citadel hopes to award at least 10% of the work to minority contractors. The new building will be 40% bigger and will align with The Citadel’s Moorish design. The Capers Hall Replacement Project, approved by the city in 2020, is anticipated to be completed in 2023.
