S.C. Chamber of Commerce names Morgan new CEO Bob Morgan led the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce from 2005-2018 and was most recently public affairs director at Charlotte law firm Robinson Bradshaw. He replaces Ted Pitts, who stepped down last October. | 
Frampton Construction has finished its first of two heavy industrial buildings that will comprise the Portside Distribution Center. Located near Interstate 26, the Class-A facility was designed for logistics, automotive, manufacturing and other businesses. Developers expect to break ground on the second building this spring.
