Things to do this Weekend

This weekend brings Bangor’s beloved Festival of Lights parade, organized once again by Bangor Rotary and set for 4 p.m. Saturday in downtown Bangor. You can get even more in the holiday spirit with Penobscot Theatre’s production of “A Christmas Carol,” now in its second weekend. And, a bit farther down the coast, downtown Belfast hosts its annual early bird Christmas sale, with shops opening at 6 a.m. for amazing holiday deals. Or, if you want something that’s the exact opposite of holly jolly, Dr. Scott Bonn brings his lecture tour about serial killers to the Cross Insurance Center ballroom at 7 p.m. Friday.
