Experience Macbeth at Shakespeare's Globe this Easter

Looking for a family day out in London this Easter? How about a gripping production of Macbeth at Shakespeare's Globe?

Playing Shakespeare with Deutsche Bank: Macbeth is a 90-minute, action-packed rendition of 'the Scottish play', specifically created for young audiences. It'll keep kids hooked, but it's also a great introduction for anyone else who's new to the work of Shakespeare or is keen to experience the unique atmosphere of the open-air Globe Theatre.

Watch as Macbeth's startling encounter with three witches unleashes a devastating and bloody chain of events, transforming him from hero to tyrant. If you've got teenagers studying Shakespeare at school, there's no better way to pique their interest in the playwright than seeing one of his spookiest and most action-packed works brought to life on this world-renowned stage.

Playing Shakespeare with Deutsche Bank: Macbeth is on until 16 April. Hit the blue button to book your tickets.

Show Me The Shakespeare
Bard On A Budget

High quality theatre like this has got to be pricey, right? Not so — tickets for Macbeth cost just £5 for standing (the genuine Shakespearean experience), and seats for under-18s are half price, making this a more budget-friendly day out than many West End shows.

Take A Tour

Whet your appetite for the action on stage by taking a Guided Tour of the theatre. Join an expert guide to hear stories from the Globe's past, and bring Shakespeare's London back to life as you explore the space. There's also a family tour, designed specially for groups with 7-11 year olds.

Telling Tales

If the magic of the theatre inspires your family, take them along to the Telling Tales Festival, 26 March-16 April, to expand their minds even further. It's a series of storytelling sessions and family workshops for kids age 5+ and their grown-ups, inspired by the wonderful world of Shakespeare. Fall in love with Romeo and Juliet, head into battle with Henry V, or have a right royal riot with The Winter's Tale — just some of the fun on offer.
