35 fantastic things to do in London this November

It's nearly November, and we're back with another nifty events round up to help you make the most of the month here in London. That includes loads of family-friendly things to do — like Bonfire Night fireworks, Christmas lights switch-on ceremonies, and the long-awaited return of  the festive funfair-on-steroids that is Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland.

There's plenty to tempt foodies, too, including a festive edition of Taste of London food festival and the Eat & Drink Festival Christmas special (we're sensing a theme here). Got a penchant for pumpkin pie? Plump for a Thanksgiving feast at one of the many London restaurants taking inspiration from across the pond this November.

Bit of a culture vulture? Then you're spoiled for choice. We've got a jazz festival, art exhibitions ranging from Hogarth to Lubaina Himid, and all the pomp and pageantry of the Lord Mayor's Show. You've even got the chance to flex your London knowledge at a dastardly pub quiz hosted by Londonist's very own Matt Brown. Click below for the lowdown on all of that, and much more.
