Tickets are going fast for Personal Democracy Forum 2019: Making Tech Civic! Did you buy your ticket yet?
Since we last e-mailed you, we've confirmed more speakers, including Craig Newmark of Craigslist and Craig Newmark Philanthropies, Claire Wardle of First Draft, Yana Calou of Coworker.org, Juliana Uribe of Movilizatorio in Colombia, and more! We're also adding Birds of a Feather sessions, workshops, and plenty of demos. Check out our website pdf19.com for the agenda and tickets.
As a reminder, PDF is only one day this year and taking place at Civic Hall. The reason we are downsizing right now is because we are working hard to bring Civic Hall @ Union Square to life! That said, this year's PDF might be one of the best yet because it is more intimate, giving you the opportunity to have deeper engagements with folks who are present, such as civic tech entrepreneurs, academics, funders (like our sponsors Ford and Luminate), journalists, government workers, and more.
Tickets are $200. This is to help us offset the cost of giving discounted tickets to folks who cannot afford a full-priced ticket but still want to come. If you require a ticket at the cost of food and beverage, please contact curator Danielle Tomson (danielle@civichall.org) who can give you a code.
