Let me dive into what you really want to hear — my take on the TikTok ban and how it impacts us here in Dubai.

While the drama surrounding it is in the US, TikTok is very much alive and kicking right here in the UAE. I'm lucky to live in a country that actually supports creators.

I love TikTok. What other app can spark work inspiration and also keep you scrolling for hours on end? I’ve personally learned about embracing my own “era” and “aesthetic”. 

The platform going dark affected 170 million people, but we will always find a way to bounce back, whether through Xiaohongshu, Reels or Shorts.

And on the bright side, Instagram is coming through with new grid sizes, three-minute long videos and a fresh editing app, and I’m excited about it — you should be too.

Let’s not forget: social media is all about being authentic and fun.
