It’s official. Time Out Dubai has got fat. And that – as everyone knows – only means there’s even more to love.
Out on shelves across the city from Wednesday October 3 is a brand-new edition of Time Out Dubai’s weekly magazine.
This is no ordinary issue – it’s a 150-page whopper, packed with our first-ever list of the 50 hottest things in Dubai, right here, right now. And a whole lot more brand-spanking-new content besides.
But it’s still only Dhs12. Because above all, we’re about great value for money.
In honour of the global Time Out brand turning a grand 50 years old (oh yeah, we’re having a massive party too – and you’re invited, we’ve adopted a new logo and given the magazine a vigorous freshening up. Because a half century – and Dubai itself – deserves it.
Seventeen years ago, when the first issue of Time Out Dubai hit shelves in the UAE, this city was a very different place. The Burj Al Arab was only a year old. The Burj Khalifa hadn’t even broken ground. Both have become iconic international symbols of Dubai’s transition from a small industrial emirate to a global city packed with world-class restaurants, nightlife, art galleries and hotels.
And we’ve been there every step of the way.
While the subjects we cover have always shifted in tandem with the identity of the emirate, what has never changed – and never will – are the principles of our brand.
Honesty, integrity and authority, with complete editorial independence and enormous local knowledge and experience.
And we put all of this into practise every week when we tell you about the best places in the city., and the experiences that are most deserving of your hard-earned dirhams.
And why wouldn’t we? We’re in the business of happiness.
Showing our readers the greatest ways to spend their time in this town is the mission, and their continued trust in us how we measure our success.
So thank you for helping us reach yet another milestone.
Dubai has an enormous vision for its future, and so do we.
It’s only going to get bigger and better from here on.
Even if we’re still only Dhs12. On shelves in all good supermarkets from Wednesday October 3. |
