There's nothing more frustrating than getting ready to start your Bead&Button Show adventure, only to realize you left something essential at home.
Here’s a helpful list to get your packing started: - Cell phone or tablet ... and charging cables!
- Notebook and pen for taking notes in class and jotting down new friends’ names and email addresses.
- Task light and reading glasses for magnification. Task lights will be available at Registration for checkout.
- Jewelry-making essentials. You’ll have kits for your classes, but if you’ve got a special tool you can't work without, bring it along!
- Light sweater. Milwaukee weather in June is notoriously changeable, so be sure to bring layers!
- Comfortable walking shoes for getting to and from class, and for zigzagging through the Expo!
- Refillable water bottle and simple snacks like peanuts, pretzels, trail mix, chocolates, and hard candies.
- Credit card for shopping; cash for tipping and for shopping the Meet the Teachers Reception. (Most teachers do not accept credit cards.) If you’re traveling to the Show from out of state or another country, notify your bank of your travels.
- Essential toiletries: aspirin, eye drops, bandages, lip balm, travel tissues, prescriptions, etc.
- Zip-top bags in numerous sizes to carry home your projects and treasures!
