Time to Talk Christmas

It’s beginning to look nothing like Christmas. Where I live in the Pacific Northwest, we’re still having 80-degree days. The only holiday decorations in stores are for Halloween. Last year at this time a neighbor put up Christmas lights and I jokingly asked my wife if this was a legitimate reason to call the police.

So why am I talking about Christmas? Because for churches, this is the time to plan. Christmas services require a lot of forethought. If you start thinking about Christmas in December, it’s too late. Special Christmas Events and Services will help you plan now. Whether it’s celebrating the real 12 Days of Christmas or doing a living nativity set, this resource will get you thinking of fresh ways to celebrate our Savior’s birth this year.

Also, if you haven’t already, I want to encourage you to listen to the popular podcast, The Rise and Fall of Mars Hill. The last episode, The Bobby Knight Problem, was an especially sobering listen for anyone in leadership.
