BiographySince childhood, I have always been happiest when I have been actively engaged in the exploration of nature. My intent as an artist is to take those experiences and feelings and strive to express them in my paintings. Some artist works that I greatly admire, I consider to be "Art" created with a capital "A" using the natural world as their subject matter. In these works, the conceptual idea is the driving force beyond the subject matter and the setting. The strong use of underlying principles, such as a strong abstract composition, a reoccurrence of shapes and rhythm, and their handling of space and depth. All contribute to capturing that elusive moment in time. As an artist, I am constantly striving to refine my work down to just those elements needed to create a strong composition. I think some of the more memorable works of art are achieved with the idea that "less is more." I heard a quote one time and I don't remember who said it or where it comes from, but I feel it best describes what I hope to accomplish when you view a piece of my art. I would like you to "see what I see, so you can feel what I felt." Learn More About Timothy F Pross Who Does Kevin Macpherson Trust with His Website? FASO, of Course!
