Hi Friend,

I'm Morgan Clendaniel, the editor who oversees Fast Company’s World Changing Ideas and I wanted to let you know that we are currently accepting applications. An early rate is available until November 19, so I’d encourage you to start an application now. If you have any questions, just respond to this email and my team will get right back to you to assist with your application.

Fast Company is looking forward to recognizing products, concepts, companies, policies, and designs that are pursuing innovation for the good of society and the planet.

I've compiled some helpful tips for you to consider while crafting your World Changing Ideas application:
  • Impact - We want projects that have created (or are trying to create) substantive, positive change in the world.
  • Design - We want projects that have well-thought-out plans for how they’ll create their impact—and how they’ll avoid potential negative externalities.
  • Scalability - We’re looking for ideas that have the ability to change the world—even if they're only serving a small number of people right now.
  • Ingenuity - We are interested in projects that range from conceptual to just launched to fully operational, as long as they are bold, new, and innovative.

Each application received will be individually reviewed by my team, and winners will be featured in the May issue of the magazine and on fastcompany.com. In total, we expect to name more than 500 honorees from all over the world to this year’s list.

I look forward to reviewing your applications!
