The future of business travel may be shifting from the traditional model of visiting clients and attending large meeting to a rise in "digital nomads," remote workers who take advantage of the ability to work anywhere and treat hotels as temporary offices and homes. A Fast Company-Harris poll found that 57% of respondents intend to travel while working remotely once pandemic restrictions are eased.

Work from home can now include working from outdoors with an ergonomic chair (skip the lawn chair), ottoman or small table, good pair of sunglasses and perhaps a small computer tent to keep your machine from overheating. It is important to delineate your workspace -- maybe with potted plants -- to keep distractions and noise to a minimum.

Subway is looking to add 40,000 new restaurant employees before the start of summer, a challenge as many restaurant companies struggling to fill job openings. Some restaurants are experimenting with new recruiting and hiring practices, such as drive-thru interviews, and Subway will allow applicants to apply by text message.

The Water Cooler
There may or may not be a problem at Chernobyl

There is a room at Chernobyl that no human or robot has been able to enter since the 1986 disaster. Starting in 2016, researchers began to detect a spike in neutron emissions from that room. The concern is that there might be a growing nuclear fission reaction in the room. Researchers are trying to determine if the problem will fizzle out on its own or if a human or robot will need to find a way to intervene.
