Employers are looking for potential in an applicant, and one way to demonstrate that in an interview is by telling a story of how you solved a problem -- but finish the story with what you learned. Contact tracing: What employers should know

Contract tracing in the workplace could place employers in a legal bind due to confidentiality rules, warns attorney Susan Kline. Kline advises employers to establish a contract-tracing policy, to never disclose names of employees who test positive and to ensure those in contact tracing roles are trained to sensitively deal with employees.

The Labor Department has set up a $150 million fund to train new H-1B visa workers in areas such as cybersecurity and advanced manufacturing. "Our goal is to create seamless community partnerships to build career pathways for local job seekers to enter middle- to high-skilled occupations," says John Pallasch, assistant secretary of labor.

Hyatt expands Work From Hyatt deals to Caribbean

Hyatt Hotels has added new hotels in North America and the Caribbean to its Work From Hyatt program, which includes private workspace, laundry service and food and beverage credits during a seven-night minimum stay. Properties in Costa Rica, Aruba, Bahamas and St. Kitts now offer packages.
