Noland Arbaugh received a brain implant from Neuralink in January, and it’s become so effective that he’s beating other players at video games, PC Mag reported. The technology created by the Elon Musk-led company lets Arbaugh remotely control the cursor on a laptop using his thought processes. The volunteer has been playing games such as chess, Civilization VI, and Mario Kart. “The games I can play now are leaps and bounds better than previous ones. I’m beating my friends in games that, as a quadriplegic, I should not be beating them in,” Arbaugh said ... |

Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery have announced plans for a cross-studio bundle that involves offering Disney+ and Disney’s Hulu along with Warner Bros.’ Max, which includes HBO, among other content. The bundle will be available this summer on both an ad-free and ad-supported offerings, CNN reported. The bundle should be competitively priced, with information on that front expected soon. Warner Bros. Discovery said that “offering this unprecedented entertainment value for fans across all the complementary genres these three services offer presents a powerful new road map for the future of the industry." Nintendo has said it plans to unveil its Switch successor console “within this fiscal year,” which means before March 31, 2025, IGN reported. Nintendo’s president made the announcement in a social media post, adding that the company will also be holding a Nintendo Direct event in June to showcase the Nintendo Switch software lineup for the latter half of 2024. He also said that fans of the handheld console should “be aware that there will be no mention of the Nintendo Switch successor during that presentation.” Earlier reports claimed that Nintendo had told game publishers that it was aiming to release the Switch 2 at the end of 2024, but it is now looking at "March 2025 at the earliest” ... |
