Hisense has a little pre-CES teaser for us! |

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 raked in $27 million more than second-placed Mufasa: The Lion King |
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 won the weekend box office with ease, raking in a colossal $62 million on its debut weekend in North America. “Bolstered by positive reviews and strong audience scores, the film beat initial expectations of $55 million to $60 million and looks to remain a holiday hit through the New Year,” Variety reported. Variety described it as "a terrible start" for a tent-pole movie that cost more than $200 million to produce and around $100 million to promote globally ... |

Sega could launch its own game subscription service |
It's not certain yet, but it seems like Sega is considering the idea |
Sega's new president, Shuji Utsumi, hinted in a recent BBC interview that the company is considering a game subscription service along the lines of Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation Plus, and Nintendo Switch Online. But as Digital Trends pointed out, with Sega titles on nearly every platform, it's possible that such a subscription service would result in streamers losing access to those titles on the aforementioned platforms. If recent releases like Sonic X Shadow Generations, Shin Megami Tensei V, and the Like a Dragon series are yanked from other platforms and isolated into a Sega-only subscription, it should drive customers to it — but perhaps at the cost of community goodwill. |
