The remarkable G1 humanoid robot is being readied for mass production

Unitree 52-inch-tall G1 is incredibly agile and costs $16,000

Unitree recently released a new video of its remarkable G1 humanoid robot that it says is ready for mass production.

The video features the contraption pulling off the kind of moves that will remind some folks of Boston Dynamics’ old (and new) Atlas robot. The $16,000 G1 robot can navigate uneven terrain, pick itself up off the ground, walk at a speed of 4.4 mph, and handle objects with its hands.

Other companies are also developing humanoid robots, most notably Tesla. Its boss, Elon Musk, claims that thousand of its Optimus robots will soon be working alongside humans at the company’s auto factories ...

Oasis to reunite ... definitely (not maybe)

It's official. The band is getting back together for a tour in 2025

Fifteen years after splitting up, Oasis has announced a reunion tour.

The legendary Britpop band broke up following a fallout between the group's gregarious front man, Liam Gallagher, and his guitarist brother, Noel, who penned most of the band’s hits, among them Wonderwall and Don’t Look Back In Anger.

Some have suggested that the reunion has more to do with Noel's massive divorce bill than any newfound love for Liam, but fans won’t care about that.

Tickets for the 14-date U.K. and Ireland tour will go on sale on Saturday. Venues include London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Cardiff, and Dublin ...

Sony’s new live-service title Concord
is having a rough launch

New hero-shooter doesn't appear to be generating much interest

Concord launched on PC and PlayStation 5 last week, and the early numbers are looking grim, Digital Trends reported.

Concord peaked at a disappointing 697 concurrent players on PC on launch day, according to SteamDB. This is despite two beta periods, an early access period that began on August 20, and a public launch on August 23.

In comparison, Helldivers 2, another PlayStation first-party, live-service game released simultaneously on PC and PlayStation 5, hit a concurrent players peak of 458,709 around launch, and six months on still rakes in tens of thousands of players.

It’s also not looking great for Concord on PlayStation 5, where it ranked a lowly 38th on the PlayStation Store’s bestseller list the last time we looked ...
