Let's get rid of monitors altogether
Our computing writer makes the case for ditching monitors for good
A monitor is one piece of technology that most of us enjoy having around, and generally the bigger the better. But our computing writer Alan Truly, a self-confessed VR enthusiast, makes the case that we should get risk of desk monitors altogether. Instead, he suggests, we could all make use of smart glasses or headsets for our daily computing needs. The question is whether the technology to make the switch is ready yet. |

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 delivers the action we were hoping for
Warhammer fans will find much to like in the new shooter
Expectations were high for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. Warhammer is a franchise with a well-established aesthetic and a complex and sprawling universe. But its latest game succeeds in delivering the cinematic set pieces and gory action we were hoping for, with an action-packed campaign with plenty of variety in weapons and classes. The multiplayer is more successful than the single player, as there are annoyances with the AI players, and there are some balancing issues to address between classes. But overall, it's a thrilling, epic experience that is one of the best Warhammer games to date. |
