Today is one of our favorite days of the year, Voornaam...

It's National Voter Registration Day!

Oregonians have so much to celebrate on this day, because Oregon leads the way when it comes to making our elections safe, secure, modern, and accessible.

✅  We were the first state to adopt universal vote-by-mail
✅  We were the first state with Automatic Voter Registration
✅  We make it easy for Oregonians to register to vote online, and for 16- and 17-year-olds to pre-register to vote before they turn 18
✅  Starting next year, Oregon will accept ballots that are postmarked by Election Day

We're also celebrating because last year Oregonians elected Shemia Fagan – a pro-voter, pro-democracy champion – to be Oregon's Secretary of State and oversee our elections.

If you or anyone you know isn't registered to vote, National Voter Registration Day is the perfect time to register!
