Dear John,

Today the Church celebrates the Feast of Saint Matthias the Apostle.

Saint Matthias was a close follower of Jesus and was with Him from the time of His baptism to His Ascension. He is most known for being the Apostle that was chosen to replace Judas Iscariot after he died. From Saint Matthias, we learn to courageously answer God’s call when He asks something from us, just as Saint Matthias did when he was chosen to be the new twelfth Apostle.

We have a special page dedicated to Saint Matthias. On this page, we’re offering a free eBook, “Here I am, Lord”: Learning the Importance of Your Vocation. We hope this eBook inspires you with joy at the goodness and beauty of God’s plan for our lives.

May you have a happy feast of Saint Matthias the Apostle!

In Christ,

Your EWTN Family
