Dash cams: A new fad or an RVing necessity?
Dash cams
There are so many memorable moments that happen while we are traveling, and often times these moments happen when we least expect it. The second reason to have a dash cam is to document any incidents/accidents that may occur while on the road.

Aluminarium: Ryan and Maggie
ryan-maggie-1080x608
(March 15, 2016) - Ryan and Maggie are currently living in San Antonio, so yesterday, they came to visit us at the state park, then we went into town for drinks and dinner.
Gypsy Journal RV: Another book done
Big-Lake-Brewpub-cover-small
(March 15, 2016) - This is my eleventh novel and the ninth book in the Big Lake mystery series. Add in my nonfiction RV and travel books and the total number is 21. And I've still got a lot more to go! Here is the cover of the new book, which was created by the very talented Elizabeth Mackey.
RV-A-Gogo: 2016 spring and summer travel plans
057_thumb[11]
(March 15, 2016) - Many of you full-timers can relate - you get on the road and don't want to come off. What started as an exciting plan to "see the country" at a rapid pace has now turned into a comfortable nomadic lifestyle. Yes, we've traded moving spots every four to five days in favor of spending extended time in particular places but we still love having wheels so we can roll our house into new and interesting places.

RV Life: Three great camping clubs for frugal RVers
FrugalCampingClubs
(March 15, 2016) - Are you as skeptical as me when it comes to discount camping clubs for RVers? I'm so skeptical that when RV superstore sales reps see me coming they instinctively know that I'm their worst customer. I never give in to sales pressure and join any kind of RV timeshare or club without doing my homework.
Monty's Musings: An epic two-lane RV road trip through six national parks
Grand-Canyon-of-Yellowstone
(March 15, 2016) - When you get the yen to slow things down and leave the interstate behind, America's two-lane highways can lead to some pretty amazing places. US89 traverses the Western US from northern Montana to Flagstaff, Ariz., with the chance to visit six of our country's national parks along the way. Ready to find out why US89 is on many an RV traveler's 'got-to-drive-it' list?
Loving Our Life Adventure: Coming down to the wire
20160314_153555
(March 15, 2016) - We are counting down our last two weeks here in Key West. We've had a great time and have been staying busy, however it was time to pick a date and get back on the road. It was decided we would spend our last two weeks in Full Hook ups and be off from there.

FB-1200-Bell-Trail-Hike-to-Wet-Beaver-Creek-The-Crack-Sedona-Arizona-768x403
(March 15, 2016) - We really enjoyed mountain biking the Bell Rock Pathway during our RV travels to Sedona, Ariz., and one day we got chatting with young neighbors in an RV nearby about where the good mountain biking and hiking spots were around Sedona. They knew the area really well and asked if we'd ever been to The Crack at Wet Beaver.
Do It Yourself RV: School bus becomes home to family of nine
Kitchen-area
(March 15, 2016) - It's an Amtran International School Bus, originally built in 1995. More recently, however, it's been converted into a home for Shane, Julie and their kids, all seven of them!

VonnaTimMarcus-WagonsWestRVMural-580x319
(March 15, 2016) - Knowing that a group of 'retired' RVers have time on their hands and pent-up creativity, the group learned how to make and lay tile for a 40-foot mural at the Wagons West RV Park in Tucson, Ariz.
Wheeling It: Boondocking site review - Quartzsite, Ariz.
20160307-N-Quartzsite-89-JPG-350x228
(March 15, 2016) - A lovely, large, easy 14-day boondocking spot ~6 miles north of Quartzsite in West-Central Arizona. This is a very well-known boondocking site in the Quartzsite area. Many of our friends have stayed here and it is clearly listed on both the BLM website and the Quartzsite Chamber of Commerce.
