| This week taught me another lesson about the value of hanging out with experienced RVers. Although I have been traveling full-time in my motorhome for more than two years, I certainly don't know all the tips and tricks to making the journey successful. Not even close. |

(March 22, 2016) - Austin is what I consider my home town, where I grew up. Since my brother still lives there, it's a frequent place we route through when crossing the country. Austin is also attracts amazing people, which tends to fill up our social calendar rather quickly. | (March 22, 2016) - For years I have had a reputation for bringing bad weather with me everywhere I go. A community could be in a year-long drought, but about the time I show up they get torrential rains. Folks can be planting their gardens on a sunny spring day when I pull into a campground, and the next morning they're out shoveling snow. But guess what? As it turns out, I'm not the only one who is a force of nature! | (March 22, 2016) - Nearing the end of our stay at Betty's RV Park we thought we would head over to St. Martinville, La., for a stroll around the town square. On our way over we passed a leveed pond that was full of birds including a large flock of Roseate Spoonbills. | (March 22, 2016) - There's a $7,216 cost difference between owning a car in Michigan and New Hampshire, finds a new study from personal finance website GOBankingRates.com. The study considered the costs of six key factors affecting the expenses of owning a vehicle in all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia. |

Margaret introduced herself as the person who wrote the first review for a campground in Connecticut on Campendium. | (March 22, 2016) - Rachel is a strange little place. It has a population of less than 100 people and is over 50 miles from the nearest gas and groceries but it attracts visitors from around the world. | (March 22, 2016) - I presented a couple of seminars at the just-concluded Family Motorcoach Association Family Reunion in Perry, Ga., and thought I'd share here part of one of my seminars: A video tour of our Roadtrek CS Adventurous XL, shown during one of the seminars I did about life in a Class B van. |

(March 22, 2016) - It's a Crops Of Engineer Park called Sandy Creek. It's off route 190 here in Texas between Woodville and Jasper. We got 50 AMP and electric for $9 with the Golden Access Pass. True we can't use the 50 AMP but there's more selection of campsites when I paid the extra $1. | (March 22, 2016) - Tailgating is a popular pastime for RVers, whether you're at a ball game, music event, or just chilling at your campsite. The Picnic Time Buccaneer is a three-in-one unit that includes a cooler, a BBQ grill and three-piece BBQ tool set, offering the best of all worlds for outdoor entertainers in one compact package. | (March 22, 2016) - The new and totally free "Roadbreakers" app for Android and iPhone is making it easier than ever for the 3.5 million truckers and untold numbers of RVers looking for a safe place to spend the night on North American roads. |
