Campfires are for swapping stories, and RV tips
Campfire group
This week taught me another lesson about the value of hanging out with experienced RVers. Although I have been traveling full-time in my motorhome for more than two years, I certainly don't know all the tips and tricks to making the journey successful. Not even close.

Technomadia: Stop in the Austin area
IMG_1100
(March 22, 2016) - Austin is what I consider my home town, where I grew up. Since my brother still lives there, it's a frequent place we route through when crossing the country. Austin is also attracts amazing people, which tends to fill up our social calendar rather quickly.
Gypsy Journal RV: Coincidence? I think not!
Big-strawberry-small
(March 22, 2016) - For years I have had a reputation for bringing bad weather with me everywhere I go. A community could be in a year-long drought, but about the time I show up they get torrential rains. Folks can be planting their gardens on a sunny spring day when I pull into a campground, and the next morning they're out shoveling snow. But guess what? As it turns out, I'm not the only one who is a force of nature!
On the Road of Retirement: St. Martinville, disc golf, a road treat and friends

(March 22, 2016) - Nearing the end of our stay at Betty's RV Park we thought we would head over to St. Martinville, La., for a stroll around the town square. On our way over we passed a leveed pond that was full of birds including a large flock of Roseate Spoonbills.
Gr8Lakes Camper: The most and least expensive states to own a car
Expensive-States-to-Own-a-Car_Article-_Least_or_Best-793x496
