Airbus Closes Deal to Take Over Bombardier C-Series Program
AMSTERDAM / MONTREAL --- Having received all required regulatory approvals, Airbus SE, Bombardier Inc. and Investissement Québec (IQ) have agreed to close the C Series transaction effective on July 1,

 


By closing the deal to take a majority stake in the C-Series program, Airbus acquires a smaller aircraft to round out its product range without paying for its development, while Bombardier gains access to Airbus’ marketing and sales know-how. (Airbus photo)
