Last month, a private satellite tracking company spotted a Chinese spacecraft apparently grabbing and throwing a dead satellite away into a "graveyard" orbit. Europe plans its first active debris removal mission, ClearSpace-1, in 2025, when it will attempt to "throw away" a part of Europe's Vega launcher. (ESA image)
