isn't the winter where our heads are tilted toward the sun ?
people pass through my life like sirens
which is not right , not desirable

when the day was falling ...
sound was processed , claustrophobic
said love like mine , go , leave

we're in the time the sun produced , or out of time
saying how will we love
this far away from heaven !

well it's lonely here , people say
you shouldn't have been born
but here you are          whole world

Instilling a love of poetry in my children started before they could read. It started with play and imagination—low stakes, no pressure. Consider a household item that wears away/gets used up. Include in your poems vast shifts in scale and scope (from morning shower to fall of Babylon, for example). Try accompanying those movements with tonal shifts, so that the poem may begin lightly and turn more serious, or vice versa.
