| John, I’m Ericka Cruz Guevarra, aka ECG. You may know me as the new host of our podcast The Bay. On behalf of everyone at KQED, I want to thank you for being a member of our community. I fell in love with the mission of public media as a student at San Francisco State. I took a class called “Social Impact of Journalism.” I learned about the unique power of news and programming funded by everyday people. That’s when I decided I wanted to work at KQED.
