Good evening,

Good evening,

A breakthrough in Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine candidate overnight sent ASX-listed travel and aviation stocks soaring during trade on Tuesday.

And didn't Flight Centre's board know about it.

The company made the most of the good news and a 9 per cent share price bump, and was quick out the gates with its $400 million convertible note offering on Tuesday evening with help from Goldman Sachs and Bank of America.

In other deals news, we've got a copy of the six-point pitch that's landed on the desks of potential buyers of Toll's up for sale Global Express Unit, as the auction heats up.

Elsewhere, something doesn't quite add up in the merger between Lendi and Aussie Home Loans, and there could soon be some flower power hitting the ASX.

Happy reading,

Sarah Thompson, Anthony Macdonald and Tim Boyd
