Short-term rental suit: More wrangling over New Orleans’ short-term rental regulations. The plaintiffs in a longstanding lawsuit have asked a federal judge to halt the city’s new short-term rental permitting program, Ben Myers reports. Honored: First Gentleman Jason Cantrell, who died last week, was honored Monday evening during a ceremony at Gallier Hall. Friends and family remembered the husband of Mayor LaToya Cantrell as a loving and selfless man. ‘Big 3’: Saints fans are likely familiar with Michael Thomas, Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed as the team’s top wide receivers.
