All summer, we’ve had fun revealing our picks for the best barbecue, pizza, burgers, ice cream and hot dogs in Alabama.
This week, we gave our food writer Bob Carlton the honor of picking Alabama’s top 10 meat-and-three restaurants. It’s his favorite category, and an assignment he did not take lightly.
“While almost everyone has a go-to meat-and-three that they eat every week – sometimes a few times a week – I have not one, but several,” he writes. “So many that coming up with 10 was easy. Ranking them was the hard part.”
