Digital World Acquisition [DWAC] - Last Close: $13.36
Digital World Acquisition is also enjoying a steep rebound rally.
This morning, the SPAC said it has settled an ongoing fraud case with the SEC regarding its initial public offering.
With the matter resolved, Digital World says it now plans to press ahead with its merger with Trump Media & Technology Group.
Under the terms of the settlement, the SPAC agreed to a cease-and-desist order and pay an $18 million penalty upon closing its planned merger with TMTG.
DWAC is up 19.3% on the news, and DWACW warrants are up 54.6%.
My Take: This has to be the most anticipated SPAC merger ever, and it's taking forever. But, DWAC is finally working towards a close. This stock could be very busy in the coming weeks.
Guardforce AI [GFAI] - Last Close: $6.44
Guardforce AI continues to run hot after a groundbreaking announcement.
On Thursday, the AI-powered security firm announced a new partnership with Concord Security to co-launch a robotic security service in Singapore.
Guardforce CEO said it has a prototype in testing, and the company hopes to launch in the fourth quarter.
Shares of GFAI jumped 57.4% on Thursday following the announcement, and the rally rolled right through the close and into today's premarket.
GFAI is one of this morning's top stocks with a 21.4% premarket gain.
My Take: GFAI has the market's attention, but can it deliver on the hype? That's the long-term question, but, for now, it's making solid gains.
