| And… if you didn’t hear, aboard Air Force One yesterday, Trump told reporters he was going to announce 25% tariffs on steel and aluminum today. | As of this writing, I haven’t heard anything new on that. It could be that Trump didn’t want to make the formal announcement between the bells, so we may learn more later this evening. | Predictably, though, domestic steel and aluminum stocks took off today. U.S. Steel (X) was up 4.8% and Nucor (NUE) was up 5.6%.
