Retention elections in Pa. are usually such a snoozefest most voters don't even know what they are. That's likely to change this year. With three justices set to stand for retention, the balance of power on the court could be at stake. Some PACs are starting to get involved, and the candidates are setting up websites and beginning to fundraise. Our first item today from Aleeza Furman has some great details about the upcoming race and will get you up to speed on everything you need to know. Also, a federal court has allowed parts of a lawsuit to proceed against a school for allegedly failing to inform a mother about her child's wishes to transition.
