Dear John,

"What would you say was Zig Ziglar's #1 success habit?"

I was asked this question at a recent speaking engagement. Without hesitation I responded-

"Dad invested the first 3 hours of each day reading, studying, and researching something new that he could share with others that would help them live a better life, and then he would work diligently to communicate that message in the simplest way possible."

On June 11th, I "saw" this Bible verse for the very first time:

Proverbs 11:25

"Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered."

Here are 3 Keys you can learn from Dad:

  • Motive - Dad's motive was pure - he was learning to help others
  • Grit - Everyday he made it a priority to learn something new
  • Share - He followed through and shared it with others

When you do this it is 100% true that "one who waters will himself be watered."

You may not have 3 hours first thing each morning to do this, but imagine how much your life would change if you took just 10 minutes each morning to learn something new that would benefit someone else and then shared what you learned with them!

Choose To Win!

Tom

P.S. I am doing an event in HOUSTON and it would be great if you could come. Check it out and forward to your friends in HOUSTON.
