Good morning, and welcome to the Wednesday, May 1 edition of the Saints Insider newsletter. 

The NFL draft is over, but the Saints keep making news. Here's out lineup of coverage:

New additions

Head coach Dennis Allen said after the NFL draft that the Saints had not filled all of their needs, adding he anticipated the team to dip back into free agency. The Saints didn’t wait long, adding a pair of veteran linemen to the roster on Monday.

Sizing up the South

The Saints, of course, weren't the only ones that got better this week. Their competition presumably improved their rosters, as well. Beat writer Matt Paras breaks down the NFC South and how the division stacks up after the draft.
