Australian telco TPG Telecom is in talks with the Vocus Group to sell its non-mobile fibre assets for $6.3 billion, a notice sent to the ASX by the company on Tuesday says.



The Alliance for OpenUSD has been formed by Pixar, Adobe, Apple, Autodesk, Nvidia, and the Joint Development Foundation to promote the standardisation, development, evolution, and growth of Pixar's Universal Scene Description technology.

Telco provider Superloop is planning to acquire ASX-listed UCaaS and collaboration services provider Symbio, proposing to buy the software vendor's shares at $2.85 per share. With 85,258,885 shares, that comes at a total of $243 million rounded up.

A network of cameras that can detect bushfires in the Green Triangle — an area spanning southeast South Australia and southwest Victoria — will be set up in time for the 2023-24 fire season by a company known as Pano AI, a statement from the company says.

Fixed wireless and wholesale network infrastructure provider Swoop has posted a 4.2% increase in its services in operation (SIOs) for the fourth quarter of 2023, propelled by Swoop's 2022 acquisition of Moose Mobile, as well as from the fixed line and wireless business.
