The TPG Telecom and Vodafone Hutchison Australia merger is tipped to go ahead with TPG making sufficient concessions to the ACCC that would see the name remaining in the market as a price-fighter brand, a well-known telecommunications analyst says, three days ahead of the date on which a final decision on the proposed merger is due to be handed down.
