Rude awakening: Man finds himself between a car and a hard place

Try to think of the worst possible way to wake up in the morning. Now multiply that by 1,000 and youâll come close to what one California man woke up to when a car plowed through his bedroom wall. The Riverside resident was sleeping around 1 a.m. when a drunk driver jumped a power pole and barrelled through two residential yards before crashing into his house. The car eventually came to a stop, but not without pinning the poor man against his wall. Had the car gone a few feet further, the man would be toast. Instead, he woke up sandwiched between the hood of a car and his headboard. The drunk driver was arrested and the victim made it out with nothing more than a few minor injuries. Police even talked up how lucky the man was, so itâs probably in his best interest to buy a lottery ticket, stat!

And we thought these kinds of accidents only happened in Russia.
