Greg Madison here. Today’s the day! After months of speculation and weeks of anticipation, the Federal Reserve will announce the first rate cuts in more than four years.
Some might argue the cuts are too late, but that’s a story for a different day. The big remaining question is: 25 basis points? Or a 50-point cut.
That decision is going to have huge ramifications for the market, and some of the biggest (and most potentially lucrative) will happen this afternoon.
