Many baby boomers have left the workforce on a long-term basis during the pandemic, yet the number of people in that age group claiming Social Security benefits stayed unchanged between April 2019 and June 2021, according to a study from the Center for Retirement Research at Boston College. A hotel in Dubai has set a new world record by erecting a tower of nearly 55,000 Champagne glasses. The 27-foot-high structure took more than 55 hours of labor to build. What's really cool about this feat is that the glasses will be recycled by a local glassblower and transformed into glassware for the hotel.
