It's been a busy year for Japan Centre! London's go-to destination for all things Japanese is bigger and better than ever before and, at its newly-expanded flagship site in Soho, it's about to unveil an immersive dining experience that takes you all the way back to 1970s Tokyo.

This is Yokocho: a retro ramen bar inspired by the buzzing foodie alleyways of urban Japan. With neon signs, lantern canopies, and a classic J-pop soundtrack, Yokocho whisks diners back in time while serving up the best regional ramen dishes from northern Hokkaido to southernmost Kyushu. Choose between umami-rich miso, creamy tonkotsu, and hearty vegan options, washed down with a sake cocktail or an ice cream-topped melon soda.

Japan Centre first launched the Yokocho experience on Mayfair's Heddon Street and at the Ichiba food hall in Westfield White City last year. This third location launches on Thursday 11 November — dine at Panton Yokocho between then and Tuesday 16 November, and you can enjoy 50% off selected ramen dishes. Click below to book your table.
