Transportation officials recognize the necessity of a reliable and sustainable transportation system to fulfill their agencys mission and goals. TRB will host a webinar on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 2:00-3:30 PM Eastern that will discuss how agency staff can assess their own capacity for resilient transportation. Presenters will demonstrate a tool agencies can use to gauge resilience within most functional areas of a state department of transportation, including planning, project development, operations, and maintenance. They will identify how mainstreaming resilience concepts can assist with decision-making processes.

This webinar features research from NCHRP Research Report 970: Mainstreaming System Resilience Concepts into Transportation Agencies: A Guide.
