TRB header updated February 2017

Collecting paper load delivery tickets at highway construction projects is an outdated practice that exposes construction inspectors to many safety hazards. State transportation agencies have looked for ways to automate this process through electronic ticketing, or e-ticketing. TRB is hosting a webinar on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 from 1:00 to 2:30 PM Eastern that will outline the current state of the practice nationally regarding e-ticketing. Presenters will describe lessons learned and future efforts. They will explore case studies from several transportation agencies that have piloted and expanded the use of e-ticketing.

This webinar draws on research from the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) Synthesis Report 545: Electronic Ticketing of Materials for Construction Management.

Some registrants will need to pay $95 to attend this webinar. Sign into MyTRB.org to view registration information.
