How safe are bicycle lanes in your community? TRB will host a webinar on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 2:00-3:30 PM Eastern that will explore how colorizing bike lanes can enhance their safety. Presenters will illustrate two case studies about green colored pavement markings for improving safety. They will identify applications and performances of different materials in both northern and southern climates. This webinar will also allow for a discussion about the costs and benefits of different pavement marking technologies in additional use cases.
This webinar was organized by the TRB Standing Technical Committees on Traffic Control Devices, and on Bicycle Transportation.

Professional engineers (PEs) who register and attend the entire webinar as an individual will be awarded 1.5 Professional Development Hours (PDHs). TRBs webinar program awards PDH credits only to the registered individual, and not to other members of a group that view the webinar together. To be eligible for the credits, individuals must remain signed in for the entire webinar, including for any question and answer session following the presentations.
