Decision makers may consider sustainability when planning, programming, and designing phases of highway construction. TRB is hosting a webinar on Tuesday, April 28, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM Eastern that will discuss how the construction industry can contribute to sustainability. Presenters will describe a guidebook that offers ideas to better leverage construction as a meaningful contributor to sustainability. They will identify sustainable construction practice ideas, explore how to include sustainability in procurement and contracting, and determine a means for tracking, evaluating and managing sustainability within highway construction projects.

This webinar draws on research from the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) Research Report 916: Sustainable Highway Construction Guidebook.

Some registrants will need to pay $95 to attend this webinar. Sign into MyTRB.org to view registration information.
