Not all concrete is created equally. Lightweight concrete (LWC) is a feasible rehabilitation technique for many structures, including bridges and high-rises. TRB will host a webinar on Monday April 12, 2021 from 1:00 to 2:30 PM Eastern to discuss the current usage and demand of LWC in the United States. Presenters will provide an overview of the technical aspects and sustainability of LWC. They will also illustrate specific barriers, including construction culture, levels of awareness, and technical myths.
