Many state departments of transportation (DOTs) utilize contractor test data in the acceptance process for construction materials. TRB will host a webinar on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 1:00-2:30 PM Eastern that will determine how to validate this data with independent test results in order to comply with federal regulations. Presenters will identify appropriate statistical approaches and provide guidelines for applications of testing procedures. They will also address common concerns such as sample size, the risk of incorrect acceptance decisions, and pay adjustments.
This webinar was organized by the TRB Standing Technical Committees on Quality Assurance Management, and Asphalt Pavement Construction and Rehabilitation.
