ATLANTA:The Black Coffee Company is putting on a festival April 15-16 designed to infuse financial freedom and entrepreneurship. At Black Coffee Festival 2022, over 30 entrepreneurs will showcase their products or services to audiences live at the state-of-the-art Ali Events Center and via Zoom. Similar to a pop-up market, the two-day event will feature quality artisan crafted goods and specialty niche services. Tickets are available on Eventbrite and range from $30-$150.
CHICAGO: The Anti-Cruelty Society's annual BARK event is back for its 28th edition following a two-year, pandemic-induced hiatus. On May 21 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. on the Stadium Green at Soldier Field, dogs and their humans will spend the morning—rain or shine—raising money and awareness for The Anti-Cruelty Society with a 2.5-mile walk along Chicago's lakefront. There will also be activities perfect for pups, including agility courses, dog massages, live music and more. This year's event is dedicated to late Chicago Police Officer Ella Grace French who lost her life in the line of duty in Aug. 2021.

WASHINGTON, D.C.: The White House 2022 Easter Egg Roll is taking place April 18, the first edition of the annual event to take place under the Biden administration. Children and families from across the U.S. are encouraged to gather on the South Lawn of the White House for an afternoon of activities and entertainment. Children attending will receive souvenir wooden eggs. A Biden Blue egg has been added to the collection this year and features an Easter Bunny with First Pets Commander and Willow.
