"Ever wondered why Mzansi eats chicken every other time of the day except for breakfast?"
Trevor Noah posed this question to his 11.8 million Twitter followers on Tuesday. He added: "I think there's a big conspiracy. Someone is keeping chicken under wraps. I won't mention them, but you know them well."
On Tuesday, offering somewhat of an explanation for having food on the brain, Noah shared a video where he visits One Esterra.
The building is one of Microsoft's newest structures which houses the company's first all-electric food hall, or as Vice Chair and President of Microsoft Brad Smith describes it, "The future of cooking."
After touring the facilities, Noah tried out some of Microsoft's newly developed all-electric kitchen equipment, including an all-electric wok.
But while Microsoft continues to advocate that cooking with electricity is not inferior to cooking with gas, South Africans may argue.
