Over the past week, Tropical Storm Debby has hit parts of the Lowcountry and Midlands. I’m grateful for the South Carolina National Guard and the SC Emergency Management Division for their preparedness and dedication to keeping our state safe.

In addition, the Internal Revenue Service has launched tax relief efforts for individuals and business owners affected by the tropical storm. Residents of all 46 counties in South Carolina have until Feb 23, 2025, to file tax returns and make tax payments.

Holding Democrats Accountable and Standing with Israel

I joined Senator Tom Cotton and 46 of our Senate Republican colleagues in penning a letter to the Biden-Harris administration, protesting its partial arms embargo against Israel. The administration has ignored congressional inquiries and numerous letters from my Senate colleagues to support Israel. Democrats standing between Israel and its right to defend themselves must end!

The U.S. Department of Agriculture recently designated Dillon, Florence, Horry, Marion, and Marlboro Counties as Disaster-Designated Counties due to the recent drought.
